Dash.py

This is my platformer game that I started developing recently. Hope you'll like it!

Installation guide: (Windows only)

1. Download the game from itch.io

2. Extract the ZIP

3. Click "dashpy.exe" to play

Installation guide: (Should work on every OS that supports Python)

1. Do "git clone https://github.com/System32UwU/Dash.py/" in the terminal

2. Navigate to the folder where you cloned the GitHub repo

3. Press "start.bat" to open it on Windows, or open the terminal and do "python dash.py" to open it on POSIX-compliant systems

The first one has no prerequisites. The second one requires you to have Python and Pygame installed, look up their respective installation tutorials online.

Controls:

A to move left

D to move right

Space to jump

Left mouse button to shoot

Esc to pause

Bugs:

If you start the game again after beating Level 2, for some reason the first enemy disappears.

Also, some text might not be fully visible on lower resolutions.

Planned features:

Double jumping.

More levels.

Proper animations.

More collectibles.

A proper story.

A proper end of the game.

Remember, this is just a demo. The full release will be way different.

Talking about the demo, I will update the demo often, up until the first half of the game is completely done. The second half of the game will be available in the full release that WILL be paid.

Finally, I only tested Dash.py on Windows. If you play it on any other system, please share your experience.
